I'm still here!

I've been lax on updating lately, mainly because things have just been so damn busy. I got married on March 22! I'll post more later about the wedding day and stuff, but for now I want to catch up on The Friday Five:

1. What is your native language?
English

2. Do you speak any other languages? Which ones?
I'm very much a beginner at French and Russian. I took four years of French in high school, and I'm surprised at how much I've retained. I studied Russian language and history in college.

3. How difficult is it for you to learn or understand new languages?
I'm actually pretty good at it, I just need to actually take the time to study.

4. If you were going to study a new foreign language, which would you want to learn?
Either Dutch or Spanish. Dutch because my mom's side of the family is very Dutch and it would be nice to connect with that part of myself. Spanish because it would be incredibly useful.

5. How are you at reading subtitles in foreign films?
I'm good at it. I love subtitled movies!

3. Salad or cooked vegetables?
Cooked veggies

4. Cake or ice cream?
Cake

5. Water, soft drink, wine, beer, or hard alcohol?
Water always wins over everything for me.
