Beauty, Music, and V-Day

lethiaI ordered the moisturizer and brightening serum from my last post, and I also ordered some burgundy hair dye. It's Arctic Fox brand in the Ritual color. I'm excited! I'm ready for a change, and I think the burgundy will look good on my long hair. My hair is longer than it's been in a long while, and I'm not ready to cut it anytime soon. I'm really enjoying it, whether I wear it down or up in a scrunchie or back in a headband.
I've been getting very into Epica lately, watching videos of their live performances and behind the scenes, and of course listening to them on Spotify. I love the combination of clean and rough vocals, and Simone Simons has the most beautiful voice. Epica really is an apt name for them, as all of their songs sound quite epic with choir and orchestral backing music along with their guitar riffs and synth keys and Simone's operatic voice. It all makes for a bombastic experience. I'm following Simone on Patreon now, and she's very into beauty and skincare, which I love.
I'm really wanting a latte, but we're out of milk, so I can't make one using the espresso machine. I need to go pick up milk at Weigel's after work today. I also want to go to TJ Maxx and see what kind of Crème products they have, so I might do that today as well. Then I'll probably pick up something to eat for dinner on my way back. Danny works tonight, so we unfortunately can't hang out and have dinner together.
Valentine's Day is coming up soon. Danny wants walnuts and matcha Kit-Kats. I told Danny I just want chocolate. I think he works on the holiday itself, but hopefully we can go out and celebrate on the day before or after. I really want to wear my new dress from Stitch Fix that I still haven't gotten to wear. It's a lovely black dress with a red and pink floral design. I want to wear it with black tights and maybe my black heels, or I could go rebellious and wear it with my black tennis shoes. We shall see! It'll look cute either way. It's the kind of dress that you can make casual or dressy. I'm really looking forward to the chance to dress up a little and do my makeup! I kinda love Valentine's Day. :P
